Pick Analysis. QB. Justin Herbert. 48. Scouting Report. Oregon. 14. player

Although some still feel Justin Herbert isn’t going outside of the top 10 picks, his final stretch of the 2019 season was a bit concerning from an NFL evaluation standpoint.

Still, I liked a lot of what we saw from Herbert this year in terms of his improvements as a passer, and there’s no question about his physical talent and the significant experience he has at a very high level of college football.

Herbert’s size, arm talent, and athleticism make him a fascinating fit in Bruce Arians’ offense in Tampa Bay where he would have a plethora of skill players to get the ball to.

Herbert’s big arm and ability to push the ball downfield could be a perfect match with Arians and at this point, he’s kind of a steal.

Even if he’s got room to grow as a prospect, Herbert will easily come in and do a better job of taking care of the ball than Jameis Winston who threw 33 touchdowns and 30 interceptions this year.
