The 2020 NFL Draft offers plenty of intrigue at the quarterback position. Could the Las Vegas Raiders roll the dice and make a huge trade for a new QB?

The 2020 NFL Draft season is officially upon us for 20 NFL teams while the other 12 vie for a title in the postseason.

The final order has been set, but that doesn’t mean the order is going to stay the way it is.

As a matter of fact, for this mock draft, we’re predicting one massive trade to happen. You read it in the headline, so let me explain.

One possible scenario for the 2020 NFL Draft could be the Las Vegas Raiders, who are essentially the hosts of the 2020 NFL Draft, making the biggest trade of the first night of festivities. We’ll talk more about that trade when we get to the Raiders’ selection, but the way this mock draft worked out, it really makes some sense for the New York Giants to move down to accumulate picks and for the Raiders to go all-in on a quarterback prospect.

We’ll see how it all unfolds, but for this first-round mock draft, the Raiders will be operating with the fourth overall pick from the Giants, and the Giants will be operating with the 12th and 19th overall selections.

As for the rest of the league, this mock draft features plenty of fun scenarios to look at, and of course we understand so much of this will change by the time free agency rolls around and teams meet needs in other ways. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Top three picks already set in stone?
  • Riverboat Ron gets a superstar
  • Chiefs offense gets faster?
  • Wide receivers galore
  • Dolphins create new offensive core
  • Packers get Rodgers a new weapon
  • Kyler Murray will be thrilled with his team’s pick…

Let’s dive into my first mock draft of the new year!
