Building a bright future for the Miami Dolphins with a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.

The Miami Dolphins finished their 2019 season with a bang on Sunday. Their 27-24 victory over the New England Patriots on the road was one of the biggest upsets of the season and more importantly, they knocked the Patriots out of a first-round bye in the postseason.

The Dolphins deserve a ton of credit for fighting all season long and winning five games. This roster was scrapped to the bones early in the season, setting the Dolphins up for success in the future. Head coach Brian Flores being able to lead this roster to five wins is a testament to his ability to lead. The Dolphins made the most with what they had on the roster and fought to win every game.

Heading into Week 17, Miami held the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. If they would have lost the game, they still would have picked fifth and after the win, they officially hold the fifth pick. There was no downside to the Dolphins winning the game and they went out and beat the big, bad Patriots. What an impressive performance that should boost their confidence for 2020 and beyond.

Nobody has more 2020 NFL draft capital than the Miami Dolphins. After the trades of Minkah Fitzpatrick and Laremy Tunsil, the Dolphins hold three first-round picks in next April’s draft. On top of that, they have two second-round picks, leading to five picks in the top 60 in this mock draft.

In this post, we are going to use the draft capital that the Dolphins have accumulated to build Flores a more complete roster for the future. Without further ado, here is a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the Miami Dolphins.
