Rest of day three

Blackmon is a highly productive safety/cornerback who has played a lot of college football. He would be a steal in the fifth round for the Panthers and would give them depth not only in the secondary but be an asset on special teams.

Highsmith is coming off of a huge season in which he racked up 15 sacks and 21.5 tackles for loss at Charlotte.

In today’s NFL, you can never have too many good pass rushers and this guy would be a nice find in round six.

The later portion of the NFL Draft is for taking shots, and what better shot to take than on a player who could provide depth for your offensive line?

Onwenu is a wide-bodied, 6-3, 350-pound guard who plays with much better athleticism than you would think.

This mock draft would certainly upgrade the Panthers’ defense, and if they can come back healthy on offense, I think it would give them the necessary push forward they need to compete with the likes of the Saints in the NFC South again.
