Ranking the 10 best NFL Draft picks of the decade (2010-2019)
5. 2011 NFL Draft: Von Miller, Denver Broncos, Round 1, Pick 2
Coming in at number five on this list of the top 10 NFL Draft picks of this decade, Von Miller.
Von Miller could retire today and be a first ballot Hall of Famer in just nine seasons of play with the Denver Broncos.
In his career, Miller is 27th all-time in sacks with 105 but could realistically end up near the top ten when it is all said and done. He was voted Defensive Rookie of the Year after being taken second overall by the Broncos in the legendary 2011 NFL Draft and is a three-time all-pro but it was his performance in Super Bowl 50 that gives him the biggest push up this list.
Not only is he one of just three players on this list with a Super Bowl ring but he is the only one that has won a Super Bowl MVP after his epic performance against Cam Newton and the Panthers in 2015. Miller registered 2.5 sacks and had 2 forced fumbles, one of which was returned for a touchdown in one of the most dominant defensive performances ever in a Super Bowl.
His impact has been undeniable and I expect him to continue his dominance in the latter stage of his career.
