A lot of talent has entered the league in the last ten years but here is my ranking of the top 10 NFL Draft picks of this decade.

The 2010’s may be coming to an end but the memories they left will last a lifetime. In the last 10 years, we’ve seen Tom Brady solidify his place as the G.O.A.T, some all-time great Super Bowl matchups and we have been introduced to a litany of players in the NFL Draft that are well on their way to becoming some of the best the league has ever had to offer.

From quarterbacks who have changed the way the game is played, to a string of pass rushers that have proven to be as dominant as it gets, this will shine a light on the standout players that I believe will cement their place in history and have a lasting imprint on the league forever.

This list of the top 10 NFL Draft picks of the last decade will take into account the player’s accomplishments, as well as their impact on the teams that drafted them and beyond. While we all know these lists are impossible to put together without leaving off some huge names that are likely deserving as well, I believe these are the players that have made and will continue to make, the biggest impact on the game today.

10. 2016 NFL Draft: Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints, Round 2, Pick 47

Few wide receivers in league history have come into the NFL and dominated quite like Michael Thomas has, which is why he begins this list as the 10th best NFL Draft pick of the last decade.

Since being drafted in the second round by the New Orleans Saints back in 2016, the former Ohio State standout has averaged over 116 receptions a season and has nabbed 32 touchdowns in his young career. These numbers have led to three Pro-Bowl nods and he should be voted as an All-Pro for the second year in a row upon seasons end.

Thomas is also on pace to be one of the most statistically accomplished receivers of all-time, as he is putting up historical numbers and shattering records in the process. Thomas has the most receptions through four seasons in NFL history (466) and recently broke Marvin Harrison’s 17-year-old single-season reception record (143) with one game still to go on the Saints schedule.

Michael Thomas has already proven to be worth far more than his 47th overall NFL Draft selection and will likely go down as one of the best to ever play the position, as his dominance doesn’t look like it will be slowing down any time soon.
