K.J. Hill, Wide Receiver, Ohio State

While Tee Higgins is heads and shoulders above all the other 2020 NFL Draft eligible pass-catchers in this game, these few Ohio State guys are go-to’s for quarterback Justin Fields. Among those, K.J. Hill has been a touchdown machine, hauling in 10 so far this year.

A career-high in yardage last year with 885 and the 10 touchdowns this season, Hill is coming on strong late in his career. He is very quick and explosive. He has great hands and is a very sound route runner. He has even returned a handful of punts this year, so he could make an impact on the game that way if called upon.

Without a true number one receiver, Hill and the other Buckeye wideouts will likely see different matchups depending on where they line up. If they can get Hill in the slot on a slower safety or linebacker, he could break a big play and really help the Ohio State offense.

Binjimen Victor, Wide Receiver, Ohio State

While Hill is the smaller, shifty receiver for the Buckeyes, Binjimen Victor is Ohio State’s version of Tee Higgins. While he doesn’t have near the production, Victor is also 6-foot-4 and can go get a jump ball with the best of them.

Victor has been a force in the red zone throughout his career with 18 touchdowns on 80 catches. The senior will look to end is Buckeye career with a bang and add a couple more to that total on Saturday, and hopefully beyond. Expect Fields to look Victor’s way whenever he needs someone to go up and get it and bring it down for six.

Luke Farrell, Tight End, Ohio State

If you look at Luke Farrell’s stat sheet you may be wondering why he would even make this list. But when you watch him block, you would understand. He is a prototypical blocking tight end, acting as another tackle tacked onto the end of the line.

While he has shown flashes of his catching ability, Farrell is out there for one clear reason. He is very effective opening lanes for J.K. Dobbins and even keeping Justin Fields upright in pass protection if he needs to stay in against a blitz. But don’t be surprised if Farrell is able to surprise Clemson by making a clutch catch in the red zone late in the game.
