Kristian Fulton . Pick Analysis. Cornerback . LSU. 17. player. 48. Scouting Report

While quarterback is certainly a possibility for the Bucs, I still believe that they should continue to beef up their secondary. Rookies Sean Murphy-Bunting and Jamel Dean have shown flashes of what they can do, but Tampa lacks a true number one corner. With Kristian Fulton, the Bucs would get a smart and feisty corner who can really elevate Todd Bowles‘s defense. There are a lot of good corner’s in the 2020 NFL Draft, but Fulton is a special blue-chip talent who would star in any defense.

Linebacker. Alabama. 18. 28. Pick Analysis. Scouting Report. Dylan Moses. player

With their second, first-round pick the now Las Vegas Raiders dip back into Alabama well to select linebacker Dylan Moses. The Raiders are getting older at linebacker, and this has been a position of need for them for quite some time. Moses, who would have been a top-ten lock if he hadn’t torn his ACL in before the 2019 CFB season, so the Raiders get a steal with this selection.

Moses is an all-round great player, his sideline to sideline range is some of the best I’ve seen and his ability to diagnose plays is equally praiseworthy. Moses would solve a big need for the Raiders, as he is arguably one of the best linebackers in the 2020 NFL Draft.

59. Scouting Report. 19. Georgia. D'Andre Swift. player. Pick Analysis. Running Back

With Miami’s first selection in the 2020 NFL Draft solving their issue at quarterback, with their second pick in the first round I have given them Georgia’s D’Andre Swift. With a roster deprived of true talent, the Dolphins can afford to go BPA at still fill a need.

Swift would bring a lot of juice to this Miami offense and could be a safety valve for a rookie quarterback. On film, Swift makes some of the dirtiest cuts I’ve seen a running back make, using his amazing vision to find holes and take it to the house. While he may struggle initially behind a patchwork offensive line, Swift would be an invaluable piece in this Miami offense.

20. 52. Florida. C.J. Henderson. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Cornerback

With their second first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Florida’s C.J Henderson. After trading All-Pro corner Jalen Ramsey to Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville has a need at outside corner opposite of A.J. Bouye. Since the Ramsey trade, the Jags have been riding it out with Tre Herndon however the difference in play between him and the now Los Angeles Ram in Ramsey is noticeable.

Henderson is a big, lanky corner who surprisingly offers a lot as a run defender. Is he Ramsey? No. But he’s a very flexible corner with terrific ball skills that would be an immediate upgrade for Jacksonville.

Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. Alabama. 21. player. 54. Scouting Report. Henry Ruggs

The Philadelphia Eagles struggles on offense this season are due in part to the injuries that have befallen Carson Wentz‘s top targets. Guys such as Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and DeSean Jackson have not been able to stay healthy. Without those guys on the field, the Eagles are lacking the speed to give their offense a certain punch.

Luckily for them, Henry Ruggs provides that and much, much more. While everyone knows him for his game-breaking speed, Ruggs checks all the boxes in all of the requisite categories. Ruggs high points the ball well for a speed guy, and it is surprisingly physical as well. As probably the fastest player in the 2020 NFL Draft, Ruggs would give the Eagles offense the boost it direly needs.

Boise State. Curtis Weaver. 22. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Edge. 35

Originally, the Titans were a team who could’ve been a contender for one of the top quarterbacks in the 2020 NFL Draft. However, since the resurrection of Ryan Tannehill, that is no longer a massive need for them. Instead, I have them getting a running mate for Harold Landry in Bosie State linebacker Curtis Weaver.

As one of my favorite players in the class, Weaver is a thick-bodied pass rusher who wins with a combination of power and hand technique. A proverbial Yang to Landry’s Yin.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. Clemson. Tee Higgins . 23. player. 16

This is a selection that can be seen throughout many different mock drafts. However, I think this is the perfect fit for the Buffalo Bills. Tee Higgins is a big (6-4 215 lbs) receiver with incredibly strong hands with a big catch radius. This is a stark contrast between the smaller receivers the Bills are currently fielding.

Sure, small fast receivers are fine and in the case for quarterback Josh Allen, provide an obvious deep threat to exploit. But by the same token, quarterbacks like Allen need a big target to go up and the football. Luckily for the Bills, Higgins is one of the better jump-ball receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Paulsen Adebo. player. 60. Stanford. 24. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Cornerback

With the regression of Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes set to become a free agent, cornerback is suddenly a need for the Minnesota Vikings. While they have 2018 first-rounder Mike Hughes, who has played admirably so far, 2018 UDFA Holton Hill can’t stay on the field and behind them, the situation isn’t ideal.

Stanford’s Paulsen Adebo could step in right away and be a potential shutdown corner for them. With a past as wide receiver, Adebo is one of the scrappiest corners in the 2020 NFL Draft.
