The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have enjoyed some resurgence under head coach Bruce Arians, and they will finish their season a couple of games from missing the playoffs. It’s important to see the growth, but there are a few areas that this team can improve through the 2020 NFL Draft.

The big question right now for this team is the quarterback position. Jameis Winston is leading the league in passing yardage, but he also has an astounding 24 interceptions on the season. It’s tough to know what the Bucs are going to do right now, but odds are if they’re in this spot they’ll stick with Winston for another season and draft a quarterback late. In the first round of this mock draft, they need to find an impact player.

The defensive line could end up seeing a lot of turnover once free agency begins. Ndamukong Suh is a free agent, along with edge rushers Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaq Barrett, who’s had a great season and could see a big payday during free agency. Finding someone in the 2020 NFL Draft to replace them would be ideal.

Javon Kinlaw can be an impact player for this Buccaneers team. He’s got a ton of upside as a pass rusher and would be a great addition to play alongside Vita Vea on the defensive line.
