2020 NFL Draft: Dolphins pass on Tua in this first-round mock draft
The Denver Broncos could go in a few different directions in the 2020 NFL Draft. Rookie quarterback Drew Lock has had a couple of good games to start his NFL career, and he will definitely get the chance to prove that he’s the guy going forward in 2020. The Broncos could go with a tackle to protect him, as Garett Bolles has struggled to find footing. Adding a weapon or two could benefit him as well, but with the top two guys gone, they decided to look elsewhere.
The secondary is where the Broncos turn here. Star corner Chris Harris Jr.’s contract expires at the end of the season, and he may not be back. After him, there are question marks about Isaac Yiadom taking over, and Bryce Callahan didn’t get much time on the field in 2019 because of injury.
Kristian Fulton would be a great addition to the Broncos. Fulton has had a fabulous season and is worthy of a top 15 selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. He’s sticky in man coverage and is physical enough to reroute wide receivers at the line of scrimmage. Fulton has the athleticism and quickness to recover in space, something that will be necessary in a division with Tyreek Hill and Keenan Allen.
