Chicago Bears complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft
Improving the Chicago Bears with a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.
What a disappointing season for the Chicago Bears. Before their kicking snafu in the playoffs, the Bears looked like one of the best teams in the NFL. The defense was dominant and head coach Matt Nagy had put together a creative offensive attack that made the most out of the talent that they had on that side of the ball. This season, it all fell apart.
The defense is still good, but it is not near as strong as it was a year ago. Offensively, they have completely fallen apart and have quickly become a mess. The offensive line has gone from adequate to a disaster seemingly overnight, nobody besides Allen Robinson seems to be able to make a play and Mitchell Trubisky has been one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL this season.
While Trubisky has played better in recent weeks, his overall play this season will force the Bears to seriously consider finding a new franchise quarterback this offseason. Nothing is more important than having a strong franchise quarterback to lead your team and Trubisky is clearly not the right guy for Chicago.
The Chicago Bears are officially eliminated from postseason contention and they have a lot of work to do to get back to where they were last season. Unfortunately, their cap space is limited and they do not have a first-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. If the Bears are going to get back on track this offseason, they are going to have to get creative and make the most out of what draft capital they do have.
In this post, we are going to go seven rounds deep with the Chicago Bears and put together a realistic 2020 NFL draft class that could help them get back on track.
