NFL Mocks Podcast: Rookie WRs, Fixing the Raiders, Your Questions

The guys open the podcast with some sadness that the college football regular season is officially over after Army faced off against Navy Saturday (1:55), but talked about how bowl season should be a blast! They even talked about Navy quarterback Malcolm Perry, who has some potential to switch positions to running back at the next level (imagine him in the Ravens offense). (2:15)
After that, the guys dive into their biggest takeaways from week 15 in the NFL. Nate talks about how wild the league is as the San Francisco 49ers were upset by the Atlanta Falcons (Dan Quinn could keep his job) and that the Patriots are surprisingly not the one seed in the AFC (4:45). Jake talks about all the rookie receivers that have succeeded this season in different roles, highlighting two big names over the rest (7:25).
The guys then dive into fixing the Oakland Raiders, who are now the Las Vegas Raiders after their final home game on Sunday (10:45). It is sad to see them move, but what an atmosphere Las Vegas will be! There could be fans from every team at every home game.
As far as their mock drafts go, they are a bit different (14:00). Nate goes with a speed demon at wide receiver early (15:58) along with a stud defensive tackle in round one (17:05), while Jake decides to go defense with both picks in the first (18:50). Jake adds two receivers in round three, while Nate goes with a *gasp* quarterback with one of Oakland’s third-round selections (21:07)!
