Jordan Elliott. DT. Missouri. 5. player. 44. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Grady Jarrett is one of the best interior defensive linemen in the league today but he has had very little help inside the last couple of seasons. Getting him a running mate is a must in the Falcons 2020 draft class, so with the 108th overall pick of this 2020 NFL mock draft, I have them taking Jordan Elliott out of Missouri.

Elliott earned AP first-team All-SEC and second-team All-American honors in 2019 after a season that saw him tally 8.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks. Those numbers may not jump out at anybody but his stats don’t do his game justice. He’s one of the best run-stuffers in this class and forced a lot of quarterbacks outside of the pocket with his knack for creating interior pressure.

He’s got an NFL-ready build, has shown off good quickness in pursuit and does well to keep his eyes in the backfield when disengaging from his blocks to keeps plays in front of him.

Adding Elliott to the rotation, which now also includes Epenesa, would immediately give the Falcons an influx of young talent that should provide dividends early on in 2020. This is great value in the fourth round of this 2020 NFL mock draft and fits a big need for Atlanta.
