Round 6, No. 175 Overall: John Simpson, OL, Clemson

The offensive line is one of the best units that the Colts have, but it’s always good to have depth along the line. John Simpson is a player that hasn’t gotten much attention yet, but he should get more after the Senior Bowl. He’s as solid a guard there is in the draft and he will provide the Indianapolis Colts with another potential starter.

Round 6, No. 185 Overall: Darius Anderson, RB, TCU

The running back position feels pretty stacked in Indy right now, but eventually, the Colts will have to decide whether or not to pay Marlon Mack after 2020, and Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines are good role players, but not starters. So, why not get a head start looking for depth?

Darius Anderson can provide some more juice to the running game. He can make defenders miss in space and possesses good balance through contact. Anderson can also be a threat as a pass-catcher, making him a versatile player for this offense.

Round 7, No. 206 Overall: Lavert Hill, CB, Michigan

While Quincy Wilson hasn’t worked out at the corner spot, Kenny Moore and Pierre Desir have been very good players. Add in Rock Ya-Sin, and the corner group looks good. But, it doesn’t hurt to add more.

Lavert Hill has good footwork and technique down the field, and his best position for the NFL might be in the slot, where the Colts need some help.
