Round 3, No. 79 Overall: Jonathan Greenard, EDGE, Florida

The reloading of the defense line continues for the Indianapolis Colts in the middle rounds. They need some more help on the edge. Kemoko Turay should come back ready to go in 2020, but behind him are Justin Houston and Jabaal Sheard, which means they need younger pass rushers.

Jonathan Greenard is a really nice get for the Colts here in round three. He’s a physical edge defender who can trim the edge with strong hand usage and leverage. Greenard has the motor to finish plays and could end up a three down defender for this defense.

Round 4, No. 110 Overall: Isaiah Hodgins, WR, Oregon State

Another weapon here for the Colts as Isaiah Hodgins joins the fold. While Hilton and Hamler are explosive threats, the wide receiver group could use a red zone threat. Luckily, Hodgins is there to scoop up in round four. At 6’4″ and 209 pounds, Hodgins can be that red zone threat. He’s great at high pointing the football and plucks the ball out of the air with strong hands.

Round 5, No. 141 Overall: Terrell Burgess, S, Utah

The secondary is another unit that the Indianapolis Colts need to bolster. Malik Hooker plays centerfield well on the back end of the secondary, but having an enforcer who can fly downhill and make plays would help. Terrell Burgess is the type of hard nosed defender who would fit right into the role.
