Round 2, No. 35 Overall: K.J. Hamler, WR, Penn State

We talked earlier about adding weapons to this team, and here is where it starts for the Indianapolis Colts. This unit can’t survive with Chester Rogers and Zach Pascal at receiver when T.Y. Hilton is hurt. Parris Campbell didn’t stay healthy this season, and while he provides speed, it’s no guarantee he’s the answer either.

The Colts decide to add to the receiver position here with K.J. Hamler out of Penn State. Hamler is similar to Hilton in stature, but he can do so much for this team. He has the versatility to line up in the slot or on the perimeter and is a beast after the catch with his speed and quickness. Hamler and Hilton would be an electric duo.

Round 2, No. 45 Overall: Marvin Wilson, DL, Florida State

The defensive line is one of the units that desperately needs an influx of talent, especially with Denico Autry and Grover Stewart holding down their starting spots. To help out this unit, the Indianapolis Colts take Marvin Wilson.

It’s been a shame that Wilson missed the last few games of the season for the Seminoles because he was having a fantastic year. Wilson is a talented player with plenty of upside as a pass rusher who can affect an offense on all three downs. He can invigorate that defense.
