This Indianapolis Colts mock draft features a new quarterback and more weapons for the offense.

The Indianapolis Colts pushed their 2019 record to 6-8 after falling to the New Orleans Saints in their Monday Night Football clash. On a night that featured Drew Brees breaking the passing touchdown record, Colts fans watched as Jacoby Brissett led their team to just one scoring drive all night. The loss also meant the end of their postseason hopes, just one year after making it to the divisional round.

The Colts were put into a rough spot with Andrew Luck retiring just before the season started. Brissett and company got out to a 5-2 start, but have faded down the stretch because of inconsistent quarterback play and a lack of serviceable weapons on the outside, as T.Y. Hilton has struggled with injuries.

The defense has also been hot and cold down the stretch. They’ve allowed over 30 points in their last three contests. The defense showed up in previous contests, but then the offense sputtered, like their loss to Miami, showing consistency issues on both sides of the ball.

This Indianapolis team can turn it around and get back to the playoffs in 2020, and they can do so with an active free agency period and a draft that sets the offense and defense in the right direction.

This 2020 mock draft has the Indianapolis Colts finding a quarterback to eventually replace Brissett in the first round, followed by some more weapons on the outside and impact players on defense. Let’s take a look at who the Colts select in this mock.
