Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 28. Linebacker. Alabama. Dylan Moses. 18

Dylan Moses is a player who is often mocked outside of the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft presumably due to an ACL tear that he suffered this season. But sustaining the injury at the very beginning of the season, there is no reason to expect Moses to not return to 100% for his rookie season in the NFL. And the last time we saw him healthy, he was an absolute beast.

Last season Moses led an always talented Alabama defense in tackles with 86. He was a force against the run, making quick and accurate reads allowing him to jump right into the hole to make the play and roamed sideline to sideline with ease.

In addition to his high tackle total, Moses recorded 10 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. While Moses stepped back a bit on passing downs to current NFL linebacker Mack Wilson last year, he is more than capable in coverage. He has good instincts in zone coverage and can cover tight ends man to man.

The Oakland Raiders snagged a speedy wide receiver earlier in the 2020 NFL Draft and now address a need in the middle of their defense. With Vontaze Burfict suspended and the entire linebacker room getting up there in age, the Raiders could use a guy like Moses to center their defense around.

The Raiders have a talented young team and a few really solid piece on defense. Adding Moses would only elevate them even more. With a defensive line and secondary laced with potential, a linebacker like Moses might be all the Raiders need to truly have a top tier defense going forward.
