Clemson defender Isaiah Simmons and Oklahoma receiver CeeDee Lamb make jumps in the top 10 of the latest 2020 NFL Draft first-round mock.

While the 2019 NFL regular season winds down, the race for the top spots in the 2020 NFL Draft is heating up. While the Cincinnati Bengals seem to have a firm grasp on the top spot, the remainder of the top five and top 10 remain wide open. How teams fare over the last couple of games could be vital to their chances of grabbing a franchise-changing player come April.

Will the Bengals find their franchise quarterback? Can the Giants land the most dominant defender in the draft or will they select a young, playmaking wide receiver to fill the void left by Odell Beckham? How will the Redskins provide support for their young quarterback to help him develop? What will Miami do with three first-round picks? What team with talent and potential may end up with a high enough pick to get a player that will launch them into playoff contention?

There is still a lot of meaningful and entertaining football to be played, but draft season is right around the corner. Evaluators will be tuning in intently to NCAA bowl games, making their final live observations before the 2020 NFL Draft Scouting Combine.

There will undoubtedly be a ton of change on big boards throughout the league between now and April, but we are starting to hone in on where prospects are expected to go. Everyone has differing opinions on just about every prospect, and that is what’s beautiful about the NFL Draft. We won’t know anything for sure until draft day, but we sure have a lot of fun providing our best guesses in the meantime.

Note: This mock draft was completed before Sunday’s slate of NFL games.  The 2020 NFL Draft order is going to change many times before the actual 2020 NFL Draft rolls around. We are simply using this exercise to get to know the draft class better and understand potential fits for the teams.
