2020 NFL Draft: Cincinnati Bengals mock draft building around Joe Burrow
Finally, some defense in this mock draft!
There’s no guarantee, obviously, that the Bengals would opt to go three straight picks to open up the 2020 NFL Draft on the offensive side of the ball, but this is a bad team and the beggars in the NFL can’t be choosers.
The Bengals need talent on both sides of the football, but the strength of this draft is clearly on offense.
For that reason, a talented player like Troy Dye could possibly slip out of the third round and to the Bengals with their top pick to kick off day three.
Dye has four years of strong production for the Ducks, and while he’s not the most well-build linebacker from a mass standpoint, he attacks the line of scrimmage fearlessly and can play in coverage. He’s very fast and even though he can be over-aggressive at times, he’s got good instincts and hits hard.
He’s got 41.5 tackles for loss and five interceptions in his four years with the Ducks to prove his versatility as a linebacker prospect.
