NFL Week 14 Power Rankings: Will Ravens finish number one?
The Dolphins have traded away a lot of their talent and are still fighting as a team. Winning three games this year is a win when most wrote them off as the worst team in the league. I like what coach Flores is doing with this team and once they start using all those draft picks on players I can see this team rebuilding quickly.
The Case Keenum experience lasted half a season, and rookie Dwayne Haskins has taken over at quarterback. This team has had a lot of trouble scoring points since Haskins took over but managed a couple wins against struggling Detroit and Carolina. They kept the game close against Green Bay but ultimately fell short.
Doug Marrone is on the hot seat and so is Nick Foles, even with signing a four year contract in the off season. Foles has been benched after he was cleared from IR and Gardner Minshew has preformed better. After sitting at 4-5 heading into their bye they dropped five straight games.
The Lions started 2-0-1 and since then have looked completely different going 1-9. Matt Stafford being out to injury is only one of the reasons for their struggles. Their defense has been nonexistent most of the year causing them to slide down the standings.
Eli Manning was benched after starting 0-2, then comes in rookie Daniel Jones who won his first two starts and the team was 2-2. After that it went downhill with the Giants losing nine straight games. Their game this past week saw them leading at halftime 17-3 and Eli Manning looked good starting for the injured Daniel Jones. The second half changed everything as they did not score any points and let the Eagles right back in it to win in overtime.
The Bengals are the worst team, they dropped their first 12 games before finally getting a win over the lowly Jets. They have a chance at getting another win with Miami and Cleveland still on their schedule.
So the Bengals are not a lock for the number one draft pick just yet.
