NFL Week 14 Power Rankings: Will Ravens finish number one?
The Browns have not lived up to the talent that they have on their roster, although they have gone on a stretch of winning four of the last five games. It’s a little too late for a team that had expectations to win their division and even represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. They have a chance to finish .500 with games against Arizona, Baltimore, and Cincinnati.
The Bears jumped the most in this weeks power rankings with a big win against the Dallas Cowboys. They are still alive for the playoffs after winning four of the last five games but have a tough road ahead with games against Green Bay, Kansas City, and Minnesota. Mitch Trubisky has also played better as of late but you can not over look his struggles early on which continue to doom this team.
It took overtime for the Eagles to get it done against the Giants but that keeps them tied with the Cowboys for the division lead. After struggling in the first half Carson Wentz led his team back to tie the game late and then went down on the opening drive in overtime and scored a touchdown. The division could come down to a week 16 matchup against the Cowboys and the game is in Philly and I believe favors the Eagles.
The Cowboys have dropped three straight games against the Patriots, Bills and the Bears. They also lost four of their last five and before the losing streak were the favorite to take the division. The Cowboys have the talent to win games but a lot of their current play has come down to coaching and if they miss the playoff you have to wonder if Jason Garrett will be let go.
The Chargers have been a disappointment this season and Phillip Rivers looks like he aged a lot from last season. They won this week against Jacksonville but they dropped three games before that. Their only impressive win this season was against Green Bay and I have to wonder if this will be Rivers’ last season in the league.
