LSU vs. Georgia SEC Championship: 5 2020 NFL Draft prospects to watch
Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia
Georgia left tackle Andrew Thomas has proven himself as one of the premier offensive linemen in college football this season. Thomas is currently considered by most to be the top offensive lineman in the 2020 NFL draft class and is certainly a possible top-five selection.
Thomas is a big and powerful offensive tackle who absolutely mauls as a run blocker. He dominates with power at the point of attack and does a great job of getting out of space and taking care of the second level.
Athletically, Thomas is solid, but the strength of his game is in his power. Does he move well enough to consistently hold down the left side at the next level? Only time will tell. He will have a tough test against LSU this week, making him an obvious 2020 NFL draft prospect to keep an eye on in this game.
D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
D’Andre Swift is an incredibly quick and elusive runner who has massive upside at the next level. He is an absolute game-changer with the ball in his hands and shows the ability to make plays as both a runner and a receiver.
Swift is one of the most talented running backs in the 2020 NFL draft class and a perfect fit for the modern NFL. A big game against this talented LSU defense could go a long way towards making him a first-round selection next April.
