2020 1st-round NFL Mock Draft: Alabama gets all of the love

Raekwon Davis is a 3-technique defensive tackle who excels at using his length to outreach his opponents with exceptional hand usage. Davis has been one of the best interior pass-rushers in the country for a number of years and will carry on this reputation to the next level. Few tackles possess this ability to pass-rusher, and still hold against the run.
Alongside Von Miller and Bradley Chubb, Davis could complete a pass-rushing trio that would compare to the like of the San Francisco 49ers. Both edges along with interior pressure would be much for the opposition to handle, or subbing rushers in and out to keep the stars fresh.
With quarterbacks Baker Mayfield, Kyle Murray, and Jalen Hurts, CeeDee Lamb has had the chance to show off his talents on the national spotlight. Production has risen every year, and Lamb has showcased a perfect combination of size (6’2″), speed, and hands. Lamb is also able to produce on the catch and run, especially on short crossing concepts.
Philadelphia has continued to fail to find a trustworthy target for Carson Wentz and will attempt to right that wrong with CeeDee Lamb. Nelson Agholor has had the city at his neck with numerous clutch-drops over the years, and Alshon Jeffery appeared to be safe until his fatal drop against the New Orleans Saints in the 2019 postseason.
Lamb has been a sure-handed receiver for three different star quarterbacks, and improved year by year. Wentz may finally have his guy.
Coming off of a devastating hip injury, and with a plummeting draft stock due to injury concerns, the Crimson Tide product falls into the teens. Tagovailoa has demonstrated every attribute and skill to be a starting NFL quarterback at some point in his rookie season (depending upon development).
Predicted as many to be the favorite for the number one slot coming into the season, his injury has changed the landscape of the 2020 NFL draft.
Tampa Bay has had quarterback Jameis Winston in their locker room for 5 seasons, and none of those years have brought about significant success.
Once his rookie contract ended, Tampa Bay held Winston on a one-year, $20.5 million contract and watched as he continued to underperform. It is time for Tampa Bay to move on, and Tua Tagovailoa would be the perfect option for a team needing its savior.
Xavier McKinney is a 6’1″, 200-pound corner/safety hybrid who has also been used as a nickel-corner. McKinney provides a combination of length, zone coverage, and run defending that is unique for players of his build. McKinney could immediately contribute in the NFL as a slot corner and sub-package safety.
Carolina currently sports a defensive backfield with Eric Reid and Tre Boston, neither of whom are excessively gifted athletically or give the defensive backfield a spark. McKinney could provide that with his zone coverage from the nickel and wide corner spots, and flip into the defensive backfield when necessary.
A powerful strongly built guard out of Georgia, Solomon Kindley has been an interior force for the Bulldogs this season, opening holes for running back D’Andre Swift and protecting quarterback Jake Fromm. Kindley has been shown to be the most talented guard in his class, excelling with his quick footwork.
Cleveland needs to continue to build around the immediate-future with Baker Mayfield, and offensive line help would help to cement his protection with additions in free agency at tackle.
Kindley is a day one starter at the guard position for the NFL and will be a great addition to help running back Nick Chubb. Baker has struggled to perform with pressure in his face, and Kindley could help slow down some of that penetration.
