Scouting Report. LSU. Joe Burrow. Pick Analysis. QB. 1. player. 56

Burrow has continued his success at LSU throughout 2019, putting his draft stock through the roof. His smart passing and understanding of the game of football will be a major selling point with other more physically gifted quarterbacks competing for the number one overall slot.

Cincinnati has been stuck into a cycle of failure and (at best) mediocrity with quarterback Andy Dalton. Franchise pieces are hard to find on this roster, and a starting quarterback would be the perfect place to start.

Complimented by a respectable running game headed by Joe Mixon, Burrow would have the opportunity to define the Bengals offense in his image with the help of current playmakers Mixon, A.J. Green (once healthy), and Tyler Eifert.
