2020 NFL mock draft: Burrow or Young at No. 1? How far does Tua fall?
By Evan Bachman
With Matt Judon and Pernell McPhee becoming free agents in the offseason, the Baltimore Ravens may need to address the edge position in the draft.
According to draftblaster.com, Okwara is “A speed rusher that excels on the edge and in space where he can use his athleticism to dominate. Has an excellent jump off of the snap, and is most productive when he gets on the outside of his blocker, using his balance, speed, and bend to get around and to the QB.
“He looks very comfortable in coverage and in space and will be looked at very closely as an OLB in a 3-4. Has very good length, but if he stays on the edge in a 4-3 will need to add some bulk to his frame to stand up against the run. Thrives with speed for now, but needs to develop more technique.”
Okwara logged 19 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks before a broken fibula ended his season. According to PFF’s Cam Mellor on twitter, Okwara produced a 23.0% pass rush win rate.
Seattle needs an upgrade at cornerback across from Shaquill Griffin.
Shaun Wade isn’t the most talked about player on the Ohio State defense but that’s just because he plays with Chase Young and Jeff Okudah. He was recognized as 3rd team all-Big 10, but he’s still a very underrated part of a fantastic Ohio State defense.
Wade is a big (6-1, 194 lbs), physical and talented player who can play on the outside and in the slot. He is a talented player with a lot of natural upside.
