Tytus Howard, OT, Houston Texans

Deshaun Watson finally has protection and Tytus Howard has been one of the two major reasons (the other being Laremy Tunsil). Howard has been more than satisfactory in pass protection for a rookie, and he will continue building on his already present physical gifts.

Jawaan Taylor, OT, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jawaan Taylor fell to the Jaguars in the second round after being projected as the top tackle in the draft class, and he has not disappointed. Quarterback controversy in Jacksonville has overshadowed Taylor’s performance, but both Nick Foles and Gardner Minshew have had the time needed to operate with Taylor on their side.

Garrett Bradbury, C, Minnesota Vikings

Dalvin Cook has become a top running back in football, and center Garrett Bradbury is one of those responsible for his rise. Bradbury’s strong interior blocking has opened running lanes time after time in the A gaps, and his pass protection has finally cured Kirk Cousin’s fear of interior pressure and stepping up into the pocket.

Chris Lindstrom, G, Atlanta Falcons

On an otherwise horrendous offensive line, rookie Chris Lindstrom has impressed for Atlanta and helped solidify the interior. Atlanta’s offensive line struggles have come from their tackles, but the interior (including Lindstrom) has given quarterback Matt Ryan space to step-up and find targets in the pocket.

Michael Deiter, G, Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins have not had many bright spots but left guard/tackle Michael Deiter has done well to help a struggling offensive unit. Deiter has already impressed at guard and made even more news after being moved to left tackle mid-game after injury. Deiter is now a qualified offensive-line utility piece and can be moved around wherever Brian Flores may need him.
