11. 47. QB. Jake Fromm. Georgia. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The New England Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick historically pick players from programs that Belichick has a rapport with or great respect for.

Obviously New England has brought in a ton of Rutgers players through the years, and they’ve also been bringing in some Georgia players since Kirby Smart has become their head coach.

Notably, the Patriots used high draft picks on Sony Michel and Isaiah Wynn in 2018 and they could do the same for quarterback Jake Fromm in 2020 if he declares for the draft.

That’s a big ‘if’.

I don’t know if Fromm is going to leave Georgia after somewhat of a down year, but if the Bulldogs can pull off an upset against LSU and get into the college football playoff, Fromm can achieve what he’s set out to from the beginning — winning it all at Georgia.

His draft stock needs some rehab, but it’s nothing a couple of big, clutch games at the end of the season can’t fix.

The Patriots’ offense is great for Fromm and they always have pieces in place for QBs to succeed.
