2020 NFL Draft: Quarterback-only mock draft predictions
No player has brought their 2020 NFL Draft stock from ashes to beauty quite like LSU quarterback Joe Burrow.
Burrow is putting together a Heisman-caliber campaign and he may be the unquestioned winner at this particular point in time.
With only a matchup against Georgia remaining, Burrow has thrown for 4,366 yards with a completion percentage of 78.3 and an SEC record (tie) 44 touchdown passes.
Simply put — Burrow has been lighting teams up all year, and just when you think he’s going to have some kind of bump in the road, he comes out and plays even better than expected.
His game against Alabama was one for the ages, but it is just one in a long line of games where Burrow has put great tape out there for NFL teams as a passer, game manager, and athlete. He looks like a future franchise quarterback with the way he’s been operating from the pocket, avoiding pressure, and making plays on money downs and in the red zone.
It just so happens he’s an Ohio native and the Bengals are going to be moving on from the Andy Dalton era this offseason most likely.
