2020 NFL Draft: Washington Redskins surrounding offensive pieces
Staying in the Big Ten for their second pick, which is early in the third round, the Washington Redskins add a little bit of college rivalry to the locker room and get Dwayne Haskins one of the most underrated receivers in the country to get the football to in addition to Terry McLaurin.
Washington certainly needs to upgrade their pass protection, but they also need more playmakers on offense at the wide receiver position and Peoples-Jones can win in a variety of ways.
He’s got 80 receptions over the past two seasons with 14 touchdown grabs and at 6-foot-2, over 200 pounds, this guy can fly around the field and has excellent body control.
With McLaurin’s ability to take the top off of defenses and Peoples-Jones’ ability to win in the intermediate and after the catch, the Redskins could have a dynamic duo in the passing game capable of keeping teams honest to every level of the field.
