New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are arguably the best team in football right now as they sit at 10-2 and are fighting for home-field advantage in the playoffs. This team is as balanced as anyone in the NFL, boasting a strong group on offense as well as on defense.

With very few holes on the roster, the 2020 NFL Draft should be about drafting top players in order to secure another title with Drew Brees at the helm, should he come back in 2020. If he does return, there’s one area the Saints should look at upgrading.

We all know that Michael Thomas is an elite receiver, and he is putting up monster numbers this season. Thomas didn’t even miss a beat with Teddy Bridgewater out there. Despite all that success, it would help out a ton if the Saints could pair him up with someone to take a little pressure off his shoulders and open up the offense a little more. Ted Ginn is getting up there in age, and Tre’Quan Smith hasn’t had the breakout many were expecting him to have.

Jalen Reagor would be a great complement to Thomas in the passing game. Reagor has Ginn’s explosiveness down the field combined with great hands and an improving ability at high pointing the football. Brees would have a field day being able to anticipate the separation that Reagor could create, and Sean Payton would love to have another Brandin Cooks in the offense.
