How far does Tua Tagovailoa fall after his season-ending hip injury? That question and more answered in our latest mock for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Welcome back football fans! Don’t look now, but the NFL season is quickly wrapping up. Just a handful of regular-season games, our postseason slate and then all focus will be shifting to the 2020 NFL Draft!

Although the April 2020 NFL Draft may seem like it’s far away, it will be here before you know it. And whether you like it or not, we are already heavy into mock draft season. Obviously, at this point, it would be a long shot to be accurately predicting picks, but we can certainly speculate and try to match teams with players that could potentially fill their needs in the 2020 NFL Draft class.

This upcoming draft will certainly have its fair share of storylines, with many coming to a head already. After Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa‘s recent inability to stay on the field and now suffering a season-ending hip dislocation, the one-time no-brainer number one pick may find himself tumbling down the draft board come April.

If not Tua, who will go number one? Will it be a different quarterback like Joe Burrow or a dominant defender like Chase Young? How many talented receivers will be taken in the first round? What about the cornerbacks in a loaded class of their own? Will a running back or two or three crack the first round? Time will tell, but here are my current thoughts on how the 2020 NFL Draft will play out.

Note: This mock draft was completed before Sunday’s slate of NFL games. The 2020 NFL Draft may not be perfect, but honestly, it does not matter much. The order is going to change many times before the actual 2020 NFL Draft rolls around. We are simply using this exercise to get to know the draft class better and understand potential fits for the teams.
