Colorado vs. Utah: 5 2020 NFL Draft Prospects to Watch
With the last week of the 2019 CFB regular season looming, let’s take a look at five 2020 NFL Draft prospects from both the Utah Utes and the Colorado Buffaloes.
On Saturday night in Salt Lake City, Utah, the Colorado Buffaloes come into town to take on the Utah Utes in a Pac-12 South matchup, a game possessing a surprising amount of 2020 NFL Draft talent.
For the Utes, the 2019 NFL season has been everything they could’ve have hoped for and much more. Currently, they possess a conference record of 7-1, as well as an overall record of 10-1, which is the best in the entire Pac-12.
The Utes only loss came during a 30-23 bout against USC, in which Trojans wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. torched their secondary with over 200 receiving yards. Aside from a single blemish on their record, the Utes are currently in the driver’s seat for a PAC-12 championship as well as a shot at a playoff berth.
As for the Buffaloes, 2019 has not been as fruitful. Presently, Colorado sports a 3-5 conference record with an overall record of 5-6, placing them fourth in the PAC-12 South. While the Buffaloes managed to win a few big victories against teams such as Washington and Nebraska, overall they have not performed well.
As far as 2020 NFL Draft prospects are concerned, there are plenty here to be excited about. While most are on Utah, that shouldn’t dimish the talent Colorado currently possesses. If you are a draft fan, a few of these names will be familiar to you. However, one Colorado linebacker may elude your radar if your not a particularly diehard draft fan.
