A complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the Miami Dolphins.

The Miami Dolphins have invested heavily in the 2020 NFL Draft, trading away most of their valuable assets for upcoming draft capital. With three first-round selections two picks in the second round, nobody has more draft capital in the 2020 NFL Draft than the Miami Dolphins.

With so many obvious needs on both sides of the ball, the Dolphins need every bit of this draft capital to get back on track. No team needs to nail the 2020 NFL Draft more than the Miami Dolphins.

Let’s see how they can make the most out of these picks. Here is a complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the Miami Dolphins. They go on the clock for the first time with the third overall selection.

Round 1, Pick 3: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama

The hip injury suffered by Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa a couple of weeks ago could reshape the early part of the 2020 NFL Draft. Tua has seemingly been the number one target for the Dolphins throughout the draft process, but if his hip injury ends up bringing long-term concerns, they are unlikely to spend such a valuable choice on him.

That being said, the early reports about the injury have been positive. It is at least possible that Tua is on the right track to being healthy when the 2020 NFL Draft rolls around. If their doctors are happy with his progress, Tua Tagovailoa is still the best option for the Miami Dolphins in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Before the injury, Tagovailoa was one of the best quarterbacks that we have seen in recent history. He is an incredibly precise and accurate passer who can hit throws with ease at all levels. He is not the most mobile quarterback, but he can move around a bit and also shows good, but not great, arm strength.

The Dolphins need to find a franchise quarterback to build around quickly. As long as Tua can pass the tests from their doctors, he is the ideal selection for this team.
