29. New Orleans Saints: K.J. Hamler, WR, Penn State

Michael Thomas is on pace to shatter a lot of receiving records this season and is legitimately in the discussion as an MVP candidate. While most of this has to do with the fact that he is an elite talent, a little bit of his production could be due to the fact that the Saints have very little reliable targets outside of Thomas for Brees to throw to.

So with the 29th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, I have the New Orleans Saints selecting K.J. Hamler out of Penn State to hopefully add a new wrinkle to their offense.

Hamler is one of the most exciting players to watch in the country, as he makes the most out of every opportunity he gets. He’s a freaky shifty player with an elusiveness that has to be so frustrating to try and contain.

He’s a guy the Saints could put into the slot right away and with Ted Ginn likely on his way out of New Orleans in 2020, he would be asked to contribute quite a bit right away if they do decide to go this route.

I believe he can handle the challenge and would give the Saints a fun new option to add to the mix.
