Cincinnati Bengals 7-round 2020 NFL mock draft: Chase Young goes No. 1
The Cincinnati Bengals take Chase Young in this seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft.
With their loss on Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals have all but locked up the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. They now lead the race for the top pick by a full two games and will have a ridiculously difficult decision to make at the top.
The way I see it, this choice comes down to two players: LSU quarterback Joe Burrow and Ohio State defensive end Chase Young. The Bengals undoubtedly need a quarterback and Burrow appears to be the real deal, but Young just might be too good to pass up.
The Cincinnati Bengals kick off this mock draft with the decision between Burrow and Young. Which direction do they go and how do the rest of the seven rounds play out? Find out in this complete seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Chase Young dominated in his return to the field this week, piling up nine tackles, three sacks and one forced fumble. He leads the nation with 16.5 sacks on the year and has been absolutely unblockable all season long. Young is easily the best player in college football and will be the top prospect in the 2020 NFL draft class.
He shows an incredible combination of size, speed, athleticism and power that makes him a force to be reckoned with at all times. No matter the situation, Young shows the ability to make a play on the ball. He can rush the passer with speed around the edge, a quick inside move or with the bull rush. Young is also a strong run defender who sets the edge well and can make plays behind the line of scrimmage.
When it comes down to it, Young is a rare defensive prospect who has massive upside at the next level. The Cincinnati Bengals need to figure out their quarterback situation, but Young is simply too talented of a player to pass up here. Nothing is more valuable than a franchise quarterback, but a generational pass rusher has to be close.
