Arizona Cardinals seven-round 2020 NFL mock draft
The offensive line stands out as the most obvious need for the Arizona Cardinals on the offensive side of the ball. They have struggled to protect Kyler Murray all season long and simply must improve their stock of offensive linemen if they are going to significantly improve going forward.
The Cardinals offense allows Murray to get the ball out quickly, which helps counteract their lack of offensive line talent. With this in mind, I doubt that they significantly invest in their offensive line. That being said, they cannot completely ignore the position. In the second round of this mock draft, the Cardinals add Auburn offensive tackle Prince Tega Wanogho to the mix.
Tega Wanogho is a big, long and athletic offensive tackle who moves extremely well at the position. He is a strong pass protector who can defeat speed on the edge and hold his own against power. Tega Wanogho does have some technique and footwork issues that need to be cleaned up and does lack ideal functional strength. That being said, he has the skills needed to be a legitimate franchise left tackle at the next level.
The Arizona Cardinals go back to the defensive line in the third round of this mock draft, adding Utah’s Leki Fotu into the mix. Fotu is a massive interior defensive lineman who is extremely powerful at the point of attack. He gets off of the ball quickly and uses his long arms extremely well to create space between him and the offensive lineman.
Fotu does a great job of holding his own at the point of attack and can two-gap at an extremely high level. However, he also shows some quickness and ability to penetrate when asked to do so. Simply put, Fotu is a rock-solid defensive line prospect who could come in and make an immediate impact for Arizona.
