8. Leki Fotu, Utah

If you’re looking for a run-stuffing, space-filling, lengthy interior defensive lineman in the 2020 NFL draft, teams should start with Utah’s Leki Fotu.

This guy definitely passes the eye test, as he is a towering prospect at 6-foot-5 and he tips the scales at over 320 pounds.

Fotu carries that size well, though, as he uses that wingspan to his advantage and has deceptive lateral quickness that allows him to take cover a ton of ground and force things outside.

In his career with the Utes, Fotu has made 16 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and has splashed at times as a pass rusher as well, tallying 3.5 sacks as a junior.

As if his imposing style and skill set weren’t enough to sell you, Fotu is also a finalist for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year award and quality example of a student-athlete that teams would love to have in their locker room.

While he may not have the splash play ability of a lot of the other guys on this list, Fotu does his job and he does it well. Has the makings of a long-time starter in the NFL and was an easy decision at the eighth slot of this top ten interior defensive linemen of the 2020 NFL Draft list.
