3. Marvin Wilson, Florida State

The Florida State Seminoles have had a disastrous 2019 season, but if there is one player on their defense that has done his part, it’s Marvin Wilson.

Wilson was a huge recruit coming out of the state of Texas and has met every expectation fans could have hoped for him during his time with the team.

After not playing much as a freshman, Wilson has been dominant in his two follow-up seasons. In his last 21 games, he’s tallied 85 tackles, 12.5 of those for a loss and had 8.5 sacks before his 2019 season was cut short with a hand injury.

He makes his presence felt in every game, even if he isn’t racking up the statistics, as he demands attention and is double-teamed often. Nearly impossible to find plays where he gets pushed backward.

Wilson is a huge prospect standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 311 pounds and he uses that size to his advantage against both the run and pass. Considering that size, he has a surprisingly consistent motor and finishes every play.

I believe Wilson has the highest floor of any interior defensive lineman in this class and should be a first-round pick come the 2020 NFL draft.
