9. Jordan Elliott, Missouri

Missouri’s Jordan Elliott is one player I feel is just not getting the love he should be getting as a 2020 draft prospect, so here I have him coming in at the number nine position on this top ten interior defensive linemen of the 2020 NFL Draft list.

After initially starting his collegiate career with the Texas Longhorns, Elliott transferred to Missouri where he has been a force in his two seasons with the program.

In 20 games with the Tigers, Elliott has 17.5 tackles in the backfield and while he hasn’t racked up the sack numbers (5), he has been extremely disruptive and makes his presence known often.

Elliott has a rocked up NFL caliber build to him and uses that power and length to beat blocks consistently. His first step is sudden, and there are plenty of instances where he forces runners in the backfield to have to change their direction because he is in their face so quickly.

Elliott is a redshirt junior and should be a day two pick at the latest, but I still wouldn’t be surprised if Elliott decided to stay at Missouri for his senior season to lock up a first-round grade in 2021. If he does end up declaring, one team is going to get a guy that I believe will surpass the draft expectations he currently has.
