While the quarterbacks and skill position players get all of the hype going into draft season, I think it’s time to shine a little light on the big bodies up front with this list of the top 10 interior defensive linemen of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Some of the best young defensive players in the game today come from the interior, such as Chris Jones, DeForest Buckner, and reigning two-time defensive player of the year, Aaron Donald.
There could be some future all-pros in this class as well, so I’ve put together a list of the country’s top interior players to potentially give a glimpse into the future of the position.
The 2020 interior defensive line class isn’t particularly deep, but the talent at the top is outstanding. Auburn’s Derrick Brown has been a menace to SEC offenses all year, Javon Kinlaw has become one of the fastest rising players in the country since the start of 2019, and Marvin Wilson has been a diamond in the rough of an ugly FSU season.
These three may lead the pack of 2020 defensive line prospects but there are some more names looking to jockey for their positioning towards the top of the draft as we enter the final stretch of the college football season.
A lot can happen from now until teams are on the clock but here is how I currently rank the top 10 interior defensive linemen in the 2020 NFL Draft.
