Round 4, No. 106 Overall: Bradlee Anae, EDGE, Utah

Day three is where the debate can begin in regards to where the Arizona Cardinals look to improve their team. Starting in round four, Arizona continues to add help in the trenches, this time adding someone who can rush the passer opposite Chandler Jones. Bradlee Anae shouldn’t last to this pick when April rolls around, but he’s fantastic value right now.

Anae has been extremely difficult to block so far this season. He has an array of pass-rush moves, from a lethal inside move to some bend around the edge. A defensive line of Anae, Jones and Derrick Brown would be excellent heading into the 2020 season.

Round 5, No. 132 Overall: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri

The wide receiver group is pretty solid in Arizona, and they invested heavily in the position in the 2019 draft. Running back could also be an option here, but the class might be deep enough to get undrafted talent. Instead, the Cardinals opt for a tight end. Albert Okweugbunam is a very good receiving tight end who can be a red zone threat his rookie year, an area where the Cardinals have struggled in 2019.

Round 7, No. 201 Overall: Lavert Hill, CB, Michigan

The secondary for the Cardinals is one of their better units this season, especially with the addition of Byron Murphy in the 2019 draft. In a passing league, having three corners who can succeed in coverage is a big deal. Lavert Hill has the ability to stick with receivers in man coverage and has good technique down the field. He can come in and play in the slot right away.
