Round 2, No. 42 Overall: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn

Arizona Cardinals can relax now on day two after a pick that may have surprised them on day one. Now we get into the offensive line rebuild for them, an offensive line that lets up way too much pressure on quarterback Kyler Murray. While he may not be a super flashy tackle, Auburn’s Prince Tega Wanogho brings a lot to the table as a day two prospect. He’s got very good movement skills and he can get out in space and spring plays open with his athleticism.

The real question for Wanogho is the lack of refinement. He isn’t elite as a pass protector, but his movement skills and competitiveness make me believe that he can come in and start for the Cardinals and be effective.

Round 3, No. 74 Overall: Solomon Kindley, OG, Georgia

Let’s add to the Cardinals line here by doubling up on day two of the draft. While Kindley isn’t known much yet in casual fan circles, he’s a very physical player at the point of attack who has a solid initial strike and can anchor as a pass protector. Those traits immediately help a team that struggles to protect Murray for a long period of time. Kindley can also be effective as a run blocker and get out of his stance to carry his momentum.

It’s not a flashy duo here for the Cardinals, but they need to do this in order to get the offense right.
