Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Alabama. Terrell Lewis. EDGE. 3. player. 829

Shaquil Barrett has been outstanding on the edge for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season. Whether the Bucs can bring him back or not, they could still stand to add some talent at the edge rusher position. In the third round of this mock draft, the Bucs take a shot at some upside, bringing in Alabama edge rusher Terrell Lewis.

Lewis is an extremely quick and explosive athlete who has a fantastic first step and can bend around the edge with ease. He consistently gets great upfield burst as a pass rusher and shows a tremendous inside move that can leave opposing offensive linemen in the dust. Simply put, Lewis is an extremely talented rusher who can create pressure on the quarterback. However, he does struggle at actually finishing the job.

Lewis pops off of the screen as a pass rusher, consistently creating havoc up front. That being said, he plays far too out of control most of the time and rarely actually closes on the quarterback. If he can learn to gear down and control his pass rush at times, the sky is the limit for Lewis. Until then, he is simply a talented guy who is not going to put up much actual production.

Scouting Report. 4. player. Lloyd Cushenberry III. 817. Pick Analysis. IOL. LSU

Whether he ends up playing center or guard at the next level, Lloyd Cushenberry III is a talented offensive line prospect who could be an immediate contributor for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Cushenberry’s athleticism and overall ability to move consistently shows up on tape. He gets off of the ball quickly and reaches the second-level well as a run blocker. He is also an extremely physical player who is always looking for work and playing through the whistle. The selection of Wills earlier would undoubtedly improve the Bucs’ offensive line situation, but they still need more work. Adding Cushenberry gives them an interesting addition to the interior.
