2. Tua Solid Off Of Injury

The big question heading into yesterday’s game was whether Tua Tagovailoa would be healthy or not. He made a rapid recovery following his ankle injury three weeks back, and his outing wasn’t too bad yesterday. He made some nice plays early, including making a great throw to Jerry Jeudy while maneuvering the pocket under pressure.

Tua did have a bad interception at the end of the first half. It was just a bad read where he was looking deep and pressing a bit to try and get points before the half.

Otherwise, he played pretty well. Tua made some beautiful throws way down the field, including one to Jeudy that was dropped. He connected later on a long touchdown to DeVonta Smith.

One game doesn’t make or break his first round talent, but his injury will be something to monitor in the coming weeks.
