The Denver Broncos have plenty of options looking forward to the 2020 NFL Draft. How will Vic Fangio and John Elway attack year two together?

Despite the fact that they are 3-6 and in last place in the AFC West heading into the second half of their season, the Denver Broncos have shown some things in the past few weeks to indicate they may not be as far away as they seemed on a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Thursday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Joe Flacco has been placed on IR, and the youth movement at quarterback is (finally, mercifully) on for the Broncos.

While the Broncos wait for second-round pick Drew Lock to return to practice after being placed on injured reserve with a thumb injury (he’s fully healthy now, by the way), Brandon Allen came in and immediately, it looked like Rich Scangarello’s offense was clicking.

The Broncos are certainly a team in need of some things, especially in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

It’s possible the Broncos will have to replace three starters on the offensive line in the offseason, and they may have to replace at least one or two starters on the defensive line.

Free agency should help them tremendously and we can’t assume they’re going to let all of their top in-house free agents just walk away, but how might the Broncos continue to build this thing?

We’ve seen the immediate impact of Vic Fangio on the Denver defense, despite losing some key starters to injury and changing the top of the depth chart at a number of positions. We’ve also seen breakout seasons from a couple of offensive weapons in Denver.

John Elway is equipped with five picks in the top 100 and seven picks in the first four rounds.

How might he use those picks? Let’s look at four rounds of mock draft madness for the Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft.
