Draft recap // Day 3 options

This kind of a draft class — without even getting into what the Lions could do in free agency — would be a nice haul and if you could add these three guys to the Lions right now, they’d probably be a lot better off as a team.

Detroit’s top needs could drastically change between now and April but if Detroit could hit on these three spots in the first three days, they could be flexible on day three.

If these were the picks on the first two days, I could see Detroit going after some interior offensive line depth on day three, some more depth in the middle of their defensive line, and possibly another running back to take pressure off of (or relieve) Kerryon Johnson.

The Lions aren’t very far off from competing in the NFC, and these pieces could help push them over the top.
