19. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. DT. Derrick Brown. Auburn. 87

This is simply a case of the Carolina Panthers taking the best player on the board. Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown could be a top-ten pick when the 2020 NFL Draft rolls around, but in this mock draft, he slides down the board a little bit.

Brown has an impressive blend of power and quickness up front that allows him to consistently make plays against the run and in the pass rush. He is quick off of the ball and consistently gets great upfield burst. Brown is also incredibly strong at the point of attack and uses his hands extremely well in both run defense and in the pass rush.

Simply put, Brown is a fantastic playmaker on the defensive line who would be a tremendous value selection for the Panthers at number 19.

CB. Stanford. Paulson Adebo. player. 52. Scouting Report. 20. Pick Analysis

Earlier in this mock draft, the Jaguars found themselves an elite playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. Here, they give their defense some help.

Paulson Adebo is a good athlete at the cornerback position who changes directions well and has impressive long speed. He shows solid instincts at the position and is extremely aggressive at the line of scrimmage. Adebo is a good press cornerback who shows the ability to shine in man and zone coverages. He is also a converted wide receiver who shows tremendous natural ball skills for the cornerback position.

Adebo would not be a worthy Jalen Ramsey replacement, but he is a talented player who would undoubtedly make an impact in their defense.
