2020 NFL Draft: First-round mock draft where Chase Young goes No. 1
The New Orleans Saints are an extremely talented and well-rounded team with many impact players on both sides of the ball. It was difficult to find a perfect fit for them in this 2020 NFL draft scenario but I ended up landing on Oklahoma offensive lineman Creed Humphrey
Humphrey is a mobile and powerful offensive lineman who could shine as either a guard or center at the next level. He is a strong run blocker who gets on the defender quickly, shows great pad level and consistently controls the defender with ease. Humphrey is also a great pass blocker who should be able to help keep the middle of the pocket protected for Drew Brees as his career winds down.
With the second to last pick of this mock draft, the San Francisco 49ers select Wisconsin center Tyler Biadasz to add to their offensive line mix. Biadasz is an extremely smart and powerful offensive lineman who has obvious upside at the next level. He understands how to protect against every blitz and stunt situation and has the combination of power and athleticism needed to compete against talented interior defensive linemen at the next level.
Biadasz is an impressive interior offensive line prospect who the 49ers could count on to lead their offensive line into the future.
Bill Belichick clearly believes in building his defense through the secondary in the modern era. He has invested heavily in the secondary in recent years and I would not be surprised to see him do the same in the 2020 NFL Draft.
C.J. Henderson is an extremely long and athletic cornerback prospect who shows a ton of natural man-to-man coverage ability. He is a sticky man-to-man defender who closes quickly and shows great natural ball skills. Henderson does need to add more functional strength in order to reach his NFL upside but make no mistake about it, he is a talented cornerback prospect who can make an immediate impact.
