First round

Size. Athleticism. Play-recognition. Versatility.

Grant Delpit has it all.

The Browns are putting together a pretty nice-looking defense overall, but a player like Delpit can help you take it to the next level.

He’s the type of playmaker on the back end of a defense who can make it feel like you’re playing with 11 against 12 guys.

The junior already has seven interceptions in three seasons of college ball including five last year as a sophomore, and was awarded the no. 7 jersey which traditionally goes to LSU’s most outstanding player (previously worn by the likes of Patrick Peterson, Leonard Fournette, Tyrann Mathieu, etc.).

Delpit is a beast on the back end with ball skills and the ability to play downfield faster than most guys at his position. He reads the field exceptionally well and would be a great piece for the back end of Cleveland’s defense.

Not to mention, he would be able to reunite with Greedy Williams.
